ABOUT US

The Centre for Smart Health Research & Innovation UK (CSHRI UK) is a social enterprise dedicated to advancing impactful, community-based medical research. We work at the crossroads of academic inquiry, clinical innovation, and public health practice addressing real-world challenges through science that serves people. Our core research areas include antimicrobial resistance, child developmental disorders, mental health, non-communicable diseases, communicable diseases, and rehabilitation sciences.

We conduct rigorous studies using methodologies such as randomised controlled trials, observational research, and community-engaged protocols, developed in collaboration with clinicians, allied health professionals, academics, and policy experts. Our work supports both academic research and non-governmental innovation, helping translate data into lasting health impact. Through partnerships with universities, healthcare institutions, NGOs, and government agencies, we translate research into action informing academic discourse, guiding policy reforms, and empowering frontline health systems with data-driven insights. Our work also supports non-governmental research institutions and international collaborations, amplifying the reach and relevance of our findings.

Above all, CSHRI UK is committed to building an inclusive, sustainable research ecosystem that centres community voices and uplifts health equity - one study, one innovation, and one partnership at a time.

OUR APPROACH

Academic and NGO Research Partnership: Our findings directly feed into peer-reviewed publications, academic theses, and global research databases. We collaborate with UK and international universities, NGOs, and global health bodies to ensure our insights create impact beyond the lab.

Built by Experts : We work hand-in-hand with senior clinicians, community health workers, therapists, and allied healthcare professionals to co-develop all research protocols. Every study we conduct meets the highest ethical and methodological standards.

Evidence to Action: Our goal is not just publication — it’s policy influence and practice change. We aim to bridge the gap between research and frontline implementation by working with healthcare services, local authorities, and community healthcare providers to scale what works.
